7 Days and Counting

Leaving home for 10 weeks isn't easy to prepare for! Packing is the least of it. Brazil has plenty of places to buy things I forget, and cheaper besides. But how many of my house projects must I finish before leaving? I've tried to pare them down to the absolute essentials, like blocking up the hole in my porch roof where starlings have built a HUGE nest and doing something with the large piles of home improvement stuff that I've left around the house near the projects they were intended for. And what needs to be put in writing for my tenants and what can I leave for them to figure out with common sense? I'm an organized guy, but in a pack rat sort of way. I'm afraid if I put everything it is "rightful place," I'll have no idea where it is when I get home. Most unfortunately, my Portuguese studying has been non-existent for a few days as I've noticed the number of projects I have to finish. Guess I'll be cramming on the plane.
